Lack of access to food can lead many to insecurity, theft, looting, civil unrest and other unexpected consequences especially for the already difficult situations present in the world due to malnutrition and poverty. This is why Rosa Rossa Foundation sent food aid where these critical situations were at risk.

We financially support the Arca Onlus Project, which gives concrete aid to poor and unattached people, forced to live on the street; families who have lost their homes and the elderly without protection, children fleeing war and poverty. Aid through: street units, reception, food support and medical assistance.

We collaborate with Comedor Nuestra Senora de la Misericordia by donating them funds for the purchase of groceries to support the local children's cafeteria and the population. 
In total, Rosa Rossa sent 1020 food parcels. 
20 helped the mothers of the children's canteen and the other 1000 were distributed in the poorest suburbs of Chiclayo: 

  • 400 food parcels for Villa del Mar Pradera
  • 200 food parcels for Los Guabos
  • 200 food parcels for January 8th
  • 200 food parcels for Jesus Nazareno

We donated food aid to a local NGO which houses orphaned and street children.
We also helped with food parcels distributed to other NGOs that is opening a second orphanage on the outskirts of Bakavu, (a town in Eastern Congo) 
With the funds received, the raw materials necessary for the packaging of the masks were also purchased. The funds were also used to create new vegetable gardens for the sustenance of orphans and nuns. 
Volunteers and farmers are in fact expanding the cultivation of the land, taking advantage of the dry season, as it is ideal for sowing corn and other vegetables.

Rosa Rossa sent food packages and distributed one ton of rice and other foodstuffs that helped:

  • 350 families in crisis situations, who welcomed this gift with tears of joy. 
  • 1400 families 
  • 7000 hungry people rescued from hunger between 01/04/2020 and 10/05/2020

madagascar

Our contribution made it possible to set up a food bank in the city of Toliara. 
The aid first reached people suffering from Covid-19, and then went through villages and houses where there were terrible situations and where we had received so many requests for help. 
The President of our local NGO partner had never previously seen such a tragic situation.
