'AGENDA 2030'

for a truly inclusive and sustainable future

All of the Foundation's projects are prepared after extensive due diligence, and designed solely by Rosa Rossa volunteers who have 20 to 30 years of work experience in international bodies, such as the UN, the World Bank group and European institutions.

Each project is monitored regularly, with the benchmarks of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

primary and secondary school in India

With this challenging multi-year project, the Rosa  Rossa Foundation (lit. 'Red Rose Foundation') and our local partner built the "Saint Paul Rosa Rossa" Primary and Secondary School in India. The school is located in the Indian Himalayas, at an altitude of 3,000 meters, and welcomes up to 600 students. It makes a particular contribution to combating inequality by helping female students. Built in brick and reinforced concrete, it is also the first anti-seismic building in the district, designed by Italian structural engineers.

new school in uganda

Rosa Rossa has completed the "Saint Thomas - Rosa Rossa" Primary School in the deep west of Uganda. It is the only brick building in the district. The school continues to grow, and now welcomes 120 children aged 6 to 13.

A well-defined program was implemented with the 3 teachers.

Also, in addition to a small football field, the School benefits from a Model Vegetable Garden that grows fruit and vegetable to provide school lunches for the children.

new hospital in tanzania

In northern Tanzania, almost on the border with Congo, Rosa Rossa has just completed the expansion of the "Saint Paul-Rosa Rossa" Maternal and Pediatric Hospital. The project is of great relevance and urgency, as this rural medical center is also the only one with a maternity ward in the whole district. Since the opening of the new, fully equipped Maternity Ward (in mid-2022), births have gone from (almost) 0 to around 12-15 per month in just a short time. It can handle up to 700 assisted births a year.
